KBP CALABARZON Issues Warning on Unauthorized Use of KBP Logo

The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) CALABARZON chapter, under the leadership of Chairman Roy Bato, strongly condemns the unauthorized use of the KBP logo by individuals who are not recognized members within the region. Recent reports indicate that certain bloggers have been engaging with politicians while displaying the KBP logo, misrepresenting themselves as legitimate media representatives.

"We have received complaints about individuals misusing the KBP name and logo to solicit or extort money in exchange for interviews or other services," stated Chapter Chairman Bato. "This behavior is strictly prohibited and undermines the integrity of our organization."

With the election season underway, there has been an increase in such fraudulent activities. Vice Chair Dr. Raymund Gonzales emphasized, "People wearing unauthorized KBP logos and extorting politicians have adversely affected the image and credibility of our legitimate members, especially during this critical period."

The KBP CALABARZON chapter urges the public and political figures to remain vigilant and report any individuals misrepresenting themselves as KBP members. To verify membership or file complaints, please contact:
