Phil Army - Armor Division Media Meeting and Election
Philippine Army - Armor Division: Engage and partner with relevant stakeholders that will contribute to the unit’s strategic focus and impact.
The Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) facilitated the conduct of Media Meeting for 2nd Semester, CY 2022, and election of the new members of Division Press Corps (DPC) at Lucky Chan, Tarlac City, with the Acting Division Commander, Armor Division, BGen Facundo O Palafox IV, PA last December 14, 2022.
Central Luzon Balita and Radyo Kalusugan network manager Angel Faith Danganan was elected as VP for Radio.
The activity was regularly organized to promote a brand image of the Armor Division that is reliable, capable, and decisive which necessitates a sustained and purposive engagement with media organizations that underpins the strategic objective “Engage and partner with relevant stakeholders that will contribute to the unit’s strategic focus and impact”.
Maj. Reynaldo C Valencia, Chief, Division Public Affairs Office appraised the DPC members on the highlights of the unit for 2022, some notable accomplishments of the different Armor units deployed all over the archipelago, and gave a glimpse of what to look forward by 2023 in terms of the Armor Division capabilities and other mission essential tasks.
BGen Palafox said that he is forever grateful to the media for helping not only the Armor Division but the whole Armed Forces in spreading just and objective news which helped the organization reach the public easier and faster. He also stressed that the Armor Division Press Corps is not only an essential stakeholder of the unit but also a friend of the #TeamArmor as well.
